My Story – Lili Barraza

Liliana’s experience with VCRC dates to 2013, when she was a student in our After School Academy. As a student, Lili participated in the Homework Club and the Junior Lifeguard program. Today, we’re thrilled to have Cecilia on staff as a Program Assistant.
In high school Lili began giving back to her community as a VCRC volunteer. She joined VCRC’s staff team in 2018. Lili enjoys writing and has shared her inspiring story with numerous people. Lili greatly enjoys contributing to an organization that has supported herself, her siblings, and her parents.
Committed to helping people in her community, Liliana graduated from the Health Careers Academy at Liberty High School. She is a member of the U.S. Army Reserves and attends Los Medanos College. Lili aspires to become a neonatal ICU nurse.
