With her husband and fellow dentist, Dr. Doug Herman, Wendy practiced general dentistry in Brentwood for 29 years. Her long-running commitment to community service includes a decade-long tenure as President of the Brentwood Unified School District Education Foundation and membership in Soroptimist International of The Delta. As a dentist, she was proud to provide dental screenings through Head Start, and she was recognized by Brentwood’s United Council of Spanish-Speaking Organizations with its honorary Maya Award. Wendy has served as a director of the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, and, since her retirement, as a volunteer at VCRC.
Born and raised in Southern California, Wendy graduated with honors from Cal State Long Beach and went on to earn her DDS from the U.C. San Francisco School of Dentistry.
